I didn't feel good in talk about any of the subject that was in the list, but I want to talk about how is to be a immigrant in U.S. I love my country and I miss it everyday. I still trying to feel at home. I came here to support my husband and I believe that most of the immigrants like his parents go to another country looking for opportunities, a better life and sometime for freedom. I didn't come to U.S. because any of this reasons, but I can understand the other and be sympathetic with them. I agree that U.S has a good education program and that can help this immigrants to study and go back to their countries with some answers for the problem that made them to came here. Countries like United States grows because of the works that cames from immigrants. However the people whom is in the topic or think that they are superior don't see from this point of view. They believe that someone who came from outside is came to take their land. The immigrates came from other area since the slavery that it was used to build and work their new conquest.
In my experience it is important to be American, South American, "Brazilian". I believe that it is important for everybody to be proud of their country. It was a good experience for me to go to another country and have the opportunity to know people from other countries with other experiences. People that is not mixed with other race, like me and most of Brazilian. I could have a conversation with them using the language that I had refuse to learn in my life "English". I had the opportunity to know a small part of the "Mother Land", Africa and have a conversation in two colonial languages, English and Portuguese. In this everybody need to be proud of being ... your country.
